The Infant Learning Project is conducted by Melanie J. Spence , Ph.D.  Dr. Spence received her M.A. and Ph.D. degrees from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro , and is currently a Professor in the School of Behavioral and Brain Sciences at UT Dallas. She teaches both undergraduate and graduate courses in child development. Her previous research findings have been published in professional child development journals and have been discussed in national publications such as Newsweek, Science, Omni Magazine, and Redbook.
