Kate Shepard, M.S., CCC-SLP
Kate graduated from Colorado State University with a B.S. in human development and family studies and a minor in French. She received her M.S. degree in Communication Disorders from UTD. She is a speech-language pathologist with experience working with infants and toddlers.
Kate's research focuses on infants early communicative behaviors. Research projects will focus on the role of the infant-directed face (wide eyes, open mouth, exaggerated facial expressions) on infants' communication development, as well as how infants view faces using an eye-tracking system. |
