Kristin is a graduate of Texas A&M University with a B.S. in psychology. Kristin comes to us from A&M's Infant Cognition lab, where as an undergraduate she participated in research with Dr. Teresa Wilcox.
Kristin's research aims to help us understand if infants can categorize emotions in infant-directed speech. Infant-directed speech is a special way we all speak to infants. Kristin's dissertation research is designed for both 4- and 6-month-old infants. Specifically, her research investigates the role synchrony, between the face and voice, plays in infants categorization abilities.
