Positions Opened

Undergraduate Students
Although no positions are currently open at the undergraduate level, undergrad students are welcome to visit and inquire about the activity of the laboratory.

Graduate Students
We are looking for graduate students interested in either:

1) patch-clamp project

The student should have a working/studying schedule allowing to spend at least 2 full working days/ week in the laboratory for learning and performing patch-clamp experiments on a thin-slice rat brain preparation. No previous experience but a serious commitment to the laboratory activity is required. The position can develop into a doctoral position.

2) behavioral experiments on the rat

The student should have a working/studying schedule allowing to spend at least 3 full afternoon/ week in the laboratory for setting up and performing a series of behavioral experiments for assessing auditory attention in rats. The position can develop into a doctoral position.

3) Immunohistochemistry Anatomical & Histological Techniques

Flexible schedule for performing immunohistochemistry experiments on localization of membrane receptors and/or biocytin injected neurons with immunohistochemistry techniques.

All candidates need to be motivated team-workers committed to intellectual excellence and independence.
