About Lucinda Dean

I provide supervision for graduate speech language pathology students. Before coming to UTD, I worked in a variety of medical and educational settings with the adult and pediatric populations. My personal interests include adult neurogenic communication disorders, pediatric speech/language and swallowing disorders, and social communication disorders with adults who have Asperger Syndrome. I currently teach courses in the areas of adult neurogenic treatment, pediatric feeding/swallowing disorders, pediatric motor speech disorders, and public school methods. I have provided continuing education training to speech language pathologists in a variety of educational and medical settings throughout the community.
