Vidya R. Angeri |
I did my Masters in Applied Cognition and Neuroscience from UTD and my area of specialization was HCI (Human Computer Interaction). Some of the courses I took were Software Engineering, Algorithms and Data Structures (Computer Science Dept), HCI, Cognitive Science, Research methods, Attention and Natural Language Processing.
I am currently working as a User Experience Specialist for Alpha Cube Designs (www.alphacubedesigns.com) a startup company in Colorado. My job profile includes User Interface Design, Usability Testing, Information Architecture and User Experience analysis. I have had the chance to work on various kinds of projects, ranging from Wireless LAN management systems, to simple product websites.
Typically my job involves:
- Interacting with the clients to understand their needs and requirements
- Analyzing user experience with the system to eliminate possible deadlocks
- Creating the interactive prototype to demonstrate the solution
- Iteratively evaluate the design to reach a high-level of usability and user satisfaction.
