Undergraduate students whose major is in the School of Behavioral and Brain Sciences are encouraged to participate in our Peer Mentor Program. Questions about the program should be directed to the College Master's Secretary in GR4.528, (972) 883-2360.
As a service to new and transfer students, the upper classmen of the School of Behavioral and Brain Sciences have a voluntary program offered by the students. The goal is to make your transition to UTD as painless as possible, and to answer many questions which might arise throughout your first few semesters here.
Your information is given to a mentor, who will then contact you. Your mentor is available not only to assist you in selecting your classes and/or professors, but is willing to share their advice on how to succeed as an undergraduate here at UTD. This program is student-run, administered and is sponsored by the Behavioral and Brain Sciences Undergraduate Committee.
You and your mentor will decide how your time is best spent. Your mentor will inform you about the School of Behavioral and Brain Sciences' rules and procedures and help to familiarize you with the various programs offered.
