The University of Texas at Dallas
The School of Behavioral and Brain Sciences
December 16, 2021
Dear Friends,

Please enjoy the first ever annual report from the School of Behavioral and Brain Sciences (BBS) at The University of Texas at Dallas. We are proud to share this with you, our alumni, students, faculty, staff, friends, supporters and fellow researchers and scholars.

The UT Dallas School of Behavioral and Brain Sciences is a group of over 2,500 undergraduate students and about 500 graduate students studying neuroscience, psychology, speech and language, and hearing, and almost 100 faculty breaking new ground in our understanding of these fields and in many cases, developing treatments for diseases that affect the brain and behavior.

In addition to research laboratories within the School, BBS faculty labs are also found in six affiliated centers, including the Centers for Communication Disorders (Callier), Vital Longevity (CVL), Advanced Pain Studies (CAPS), Children and Families (CCF), Biomedical Devices (TxBDC), and BrainHealth.

Please let us know what you think of this report. If you would like to become more involved with BBS, we would be thrilled! You can respond directly to me, or contact Erin Dougherty, BBS Director of Development and Alumni Relations, at (972) 883-3938 or [email protected] to share feedback or get involved with the School.

Thanks for your interest in the School of Behavioral and Brain Sciences and UT Dallas.

Best wishes,

Steve
