Dr. Gayle Schwark earned her PhD in experimental psychology from New Mexico State University. She also holds a master’s degree in experimental psychology and bachelor’s degrees in both psychology and sociology. Dr. Schwark currently teaches all three courses in the undergraduate psychology research methods sequence (statistics for psychology, research design & analysis, and experimental projects) and has frequently taught other undergraduate psychology courses including introduction to psychology, abnormal psychology, and effective thinking. Her research interests have focused on social cognition, with a special interest in biases in deductive reasoning. She has also published research on topics including trust, trait attribution, morality, and various other cognitive and human-factors related issues.
