Sabina is a PhD candidate in cognitive neuroscience at the Center for Vital Longevity (UT Dallas) and works in the Functional Neuroimaging of Memory Laboratory led by Dr. Michael D. Rugg. Before arriving at UT Dallas, Sabina earned a BSc in psychology at the University of Essex in the United Kingdom. Sabina’s current research explores the impact of cognitive aging on episodic encoding and retrieval using functional magnetic resonance imaging and eye-tracking. Her dissertation work focuses on the interactions between age differences in neural selectivity, memory success, and the effects of age on exploratory eye-movements during memory encoding and retrieval.
