Athul Sudheesh is a doctoral student in the cognition and neuroscience program with a focus on psychometric modeling. He works with Dr. Richard M. Golden at the Cognitive Informatics and Statistics Lab to develop advanced statistical and computational tools to support the experimental design and psychometric analysis of educational and assessment tasks. Athul received his MS in applied cognition and neuroscience with a concentration in computational modeling in spring 2018 from the School of Behavioral and Brain Sciences at UT Dallas. Athul’s research investigates the cognitive and metacognitive factors affecting learning in adults, measurement and modeling issues in educational assessments, and parameter estimation methods for cognitive diagnostic modeling.
