Kennedy is a doctoral student in the psychology program with a concentration in social/personality psychology at UT Dallas. She works in the Personality and Interpersonal Relationships lab led by Dr. Rob Ackerman. She received her BS in psychology from the University of North Texas in Spring 2018, and her MS in psychological sciences from UT Dallas in Spring 2020. During her doctoral program, Kennedy has primarily investigated how narcissism relates to sexual initiation strategies (e.g., sexual coercion and sexual coaxing) within romantic relationship. Upon graduation, Kennedy aspires to be a UX researcher in which she will conduct research on tech products (e.g., social media or dating apps) that have direct impact on people’s daily lives and relationships. She also loves music, animals, working out, and coffee.
