Mayra Padilla Cardoso is a doctoral student in the psychology program with a concentration in developmental psychology at The University of Texas at Dallas. She works in the Children and Families Lab led by Dr. Margaret Owen. She received her BS in clinical psychology at University of Azuay in Ecuador and master of science in children and young people’s mental health from the University of Edinburgh. Mayra’s research interests predominately lie in children’s social and emotional development and parent-child relationship and their outcomes.
