BBS Undergraduate Advising Office

BBS students, in an effort to support the health and wellness of all UT Dallas students, staff, and community members, we would like to announce that the Behavioral and Brain Sciences Advising Office is going virtual until further notice. During this time, we appreciate your patience and flexibility as our office is committed to serving our students as efficiently as possible. Please be aware this plan is subject to change at any time and our office will send out additional updates as needed.

Office Hours

Our office advising hours will be from 8:00 AM — 5:00 PM each day for email communications and video chat appointments booked through Genbook. Please see below for the types of assistance we will be providing via email and video chat.

BBS Advising will begin taking graduation audit appointments from November 23rd-December 18th and then again on January 4th-February 4th.



Request to withdraw from a class Discuss change of majors
Apply AP/IB credit Discuss in-depth registration questions
Verify transfer credit

Clarify pertinent dates/deadlines  
Submit forms or paperwork  

You may book your virtual advising session with an advisor through Genbook.

Please note, as we are providing virtual assistance to students, this means the physical advising office will not be open during this time. If you wish to reach an advisor, you will have to do so via email or Genbook only.
