Graduate education in the Neuroscience Department is geared towards individuals seeking additional neuroscience experience and research training

Graduate education in the Neuroscience Department encompasses all aspects of neural function, including pain and sensory perception, decision making, emotional memory, motor learning, neuroplasticity and neuroengineering. Graduate education is geared towards individuals seeking additional neuroscience experience and research training through our (1) Applied Cognition Master’s degree program or through the (2) Systems and Cellular Neuroscience PhD Track. Our master’s students commonly transition to health professions school (e.g. medicine, dentistry, physical therapy et cetera), PhD-level graduate school or immediately transition into the workforce with their degree. PhD graduates successfully launch careers in academics, pharmaceutics, industry or business.
