Clinical Psychological Science Concentration

Grounded in science. Designed for those who lead, question, and innovate.

Doctoral training in Clinical Psychological Science at UT Dallas is grounded in the clinical science model and aligned to PCSAS accreditation standards. Students are expected to master research design, build advanced behavioral science expertise, and engage with the theoretical and empirical questions that drive the field forward. This program is built for individuals who think critically and are committed to producing research that is conceptually strong, enduring in its influence, and relevant to the real-world challenges of clinical psychology. We are dedicated to providing a rigorous, science-based education that empowers students to advance the field and become leaders in clinical psychology.

Lead

Our students develop the expertise to design rigorous studies, shape scientific conversations, and raise the standard for what clinical science should be. They are prepared to lead not only with competence, but with ideas that set direction for the field.

Innovate

Students are supported to develop original contributions that extend what clinical psychological science can explain, evaluate, or deliver. Their innovation is grounded in evidence and driven by the belief that better science improves real lives.
